Men's fertility blood work?

Question

Does anyone know what exactly they test for? They never told us the specifics but now called saying they want to discuss it on Friday when we go in and I'm all nervous now. Any input helps thank you(:

My partner got tested for a few things. 
Blood count
FSH and LH
Testosterone
Blood group 
Blood sugar (HbA1c)
STI and Infectious diseases
I was told these are standard procedure and need to be done every 6 months at the clinic where we were while undergoing fertility treatments. We also had a semen analysis done.
