HELP!!

so ladies I'm 37 weeks 2 days and I seen my ob today and he asked me how I feel about being induced in 2 weeks? I said I rather not be cause its double the pain. I've have done both I have been induced 3 times and my last one I went over 40 weeks 5 days and I had him natural no pain meds nothing I was in labor for 3 or 4 hours and after experiencing that I never wanted to be induced again. I had my last 4 in Cali and this baby I'm having in Texas not to mention my ob hasn't even checked me and my last ultrasound I was 20 weeks all he does is listen to the heart beat and measure my belly he said my baby is like 7lbs so he told me go home think about being induced and let him know at my next week check and that he will check me then if I'm closed he will let me go pass my due date but if not then he wants me to be induced on my due date which I don't want. he says he's afraid I wont make it to the hospital cause this is nunber 5
