Wanting to Dilate

Doctor said im 1/2cm dilated and 50% effaced! What are some ways you helped dilation? We are already trying sex and I brought evening primrose oil but im unsure if the dosage to take. I have an active job x3 days a week and take my dog on a 30 minute walk on my days off. Help a girl out!
