Too much white sugar in your recipe. Do half white half brown

Try a different recipe! Also when you out them on the baking sheet don't shush them down.

I hate hard cookies, I need chewy. 
So my trick is - however long it says to leave it in the oven, I'll leave it in for a couple minutes less. (So instead of 8min, I'll do 5 or 6min) and they usually come out perfect. Lol

I can seriously bake anything else.. except for stupid cookies.. They are never right.. It's just the cooking process, idk how they're supposed to look when they're done😕
