Taking a 2 month old trick or treating

My boyfriend is so excited to take our son trick or treating but I feel bad that we’d be pretty much taking candy for ourselves since he can’t eat it yet 😅 At the same time I think it’d be fun to dress him up and go around door to door. And it’d be good for my boyfriend and me as we’re working on fixing our relationship. What do you think? Would you take your 2 month old trick or treating?
