How soon?

So I just had my IUD removed this Wednesday and bough ovulation strips! I’m curious how long it took others to get pregnant after they had theirs removed? My doctor told me to try and get pregnant now to avoid having periods (my periods are EXTREMELY painful).

Got mine out end of April and was pregnant by July!! My doctor told me to wait till I had one period to try to get pregnant.

I'm curious to hear the answers as well. For some reason I am terrified that the IUD caused damage and it will affect my fertility. I'm probably just being paranoid. Hopefully it works out for you and you don't get an awful AF.

I got mine out January 18th, had a super light period the25th and got my bfp February 23rd. Good luck!
