I got a BFP Monday, went in for blood work Tuesday, had a HCG reading of 22. Doctor said it was low, but had had patients who were able to go on and have completely normal pregnancies. She wanted me to come back Thursday and do another blood draw to see if my numbers went up.

Got the phone call today that my numbers went down. To say that I'm devastated is an understatement. I knew I wanted a child, but this happening really just confirmed HOW much I really wanted this.

Any advice on what to expect? I know that it's still early, so it will most likely be passing clots, but is it like having your period? How long does it last for? And when should we try again?
