Medicine & Teething?

Question

What medicine are you mommas doing for teething? 
I have a LO 7 m on the 27th with two bottom teeth, popped through a couple weeks ago. 
My doctor told me we can now do Advil or Ibuprofen rather than Tylenol. 
I picked up some Advil yesterday, since we seem to be giving him Tylenol daily still. 
Before I give, was just curious how many other mothers are doing so! And if you think it works better than the Tylenol? (I know it's not easy to really tell, but for anyone who can tell a difference. 🙂)

My baby has one bottom tooth and the other one is really struggling to come through. I gave her Tylenol on two nights when she waa really fussy and restless. otherwise I give her cold things to chew on and teething toys.

Thanks for your inputs ladies, is always curious before doing something new. 
I ended up getting the Advil, I noticed a HUGE difference when he took it. (The dosage is 1.25 ml for his weight ((around 17 pounds)) ). He was much more calm, and sleepy even. Just chilled. Him. Out. We have sooo many teething toys but they just don't do the trick, almost seem to make him hurt more. 
Definitely suggest the Advil!

We’ve done Tylenol for teething and he seems to nap better. He turned 7 months yesterday and has 4 teeth with another trying to come through. We have Advil but the dr didn’t write down the dosing so we haven’t tried it yet. I wear him a lot and go on walks to distract from the pain and that works most of the time.

I don't like giving so much medicine at this age. But I do if he really needs it and won't settle down with a cold teething toy. I normally use infant ibuprofen which seems to work pretty well.
