Christ....How do some kids make it?

I'm at a college tailgate today with my company and I'm witnessing a girl (I'm assuming younger, early 20's) holding a little baby girl that looks brand spanking new. That's fine, maybe a little loud for a newborn, quite a few germs, but hell, my kids have always been out in public the first few weeks of life. No, this girl has a beer in one hand, and a cigarette in the one not holding her daughter; the winds whipping it directly into her babies face, my hearts breaking. I want to go over and ask to hold her just to get it away from her for a minute.
