Labor at home with bf’s roomie

Has anyone labored at home with partner’s room mate in the house? What was your experience? We live in a two bedroom and just wondering if it was awkward or what it was like... the room mate is a male and he is a stranger to me. I don’t know anything about him other than his name and where he is from. My boyfriend is sort of friends with him but more so just co-workers. He isn’t really home and I never see him because he works 5 days a week 1-10. On the chance he is home while laboring, just curious...

They lived together as bachelors to save money, and now we are together and expecting a child. I got pregnant quickly, and have known my bf for about a year.

It’s just worrying me imagining laboring at home (which is what I want to do, I want to avoid hospital interventions as long as possible) with a stranger there.

PS it’s my first pregnancy so I could be laboring for a long ass time before needing to go.... could be 24-36 hours per my doula 😐
