Confused on whats going on?

My period is suppose to start this Tuesday. Yesterday I woke up and wiped and had a normal color blood on the toilet paper. I was bummed that AF came but thought It was weird she came early. This never happens, if anything I'm late never early. So I went about my day and changed my first tampon and it had very little blood almost brown. Not to unusual because my flow changes day to day. After that my period literally stopped and have not had it since.Is this normal? Anyone experience this? I thought maybe implantation bleeding but it was a bright red blood at first not light spotting like implantation says.
