switching drs late in pregnancy

Has anyone switches drs passed the 30 week mark? I don't want to go through the hassle but i'm beginning to think it may be whats best.

he's one of the best drs in my area, so he has a load of clients. The office triple books him, so whenever i go in for an 8:30 appointment the earliest i leave is 11. The last few times I've had appointments I've gotten to his office just to find that hes at the hospital for a birth (which is no problem, but i feel the receptionists should at least call). Not to mention when i actually see him it's for 3 minutes, and hes very nice, but just not so personable...i'm not sure if its just me being dramatic or if i should actually try to get in with someone else. Anyone else switched?
