Dad’s showering with baby?

Question

I overheard this girl talking to lady about if she had a daughter she would never let her husband shower or change the baby’s diaper because it’s a girl and her husband shouldn’t see his daughter naked. 
In my opinion I thought this was dumb cause she sexualizing her child with her husband which is wrong. 
What do y’all think?

If you can’t trust your husband to take a bath or bathe your daughter (or son) then you probably shouldn’t have married him or had children with him in the first place...

A father should be allowed to care for his own daughter. That's like telling a mom she shouldn't be allowed to change her own sons diaper or give him a bath. It shouldn't matter if it's the opposite gender. That's their own child.

You know everyone to their own, but seriously? Like bathing with your child is a beautiful thing.  My husband showers with our daughter because she loves water which we find weird singes she's only 6 months. While he showers I get her ready and I watch them play with the water it's cute. No need to sexualize things. I agree, if you can't trust your husband then you shouldn't be with him.

My Husband does not feel comfortable being naked around our daughter, she's almost 9 years old. He use to change her diapers but has never showered with her. I have never taken a shower with her either.

I think that that’s up to them and what works for them. But yes it seems like she may be sexualizing the situation.
