What's wrong with my aunt?

Alright so recently one of my brothers life has basically gone to shit. He had a kid with his girlfriend and they both were doing so good but recently she had a drug relapse. So she is back in rehab but that doesn't leave anyone to watch his son so I told him my husband and I would look after him. He is a 2 year old boy. He does normal 2 year old boy things. He likes to dance, he likes to yell and sing, he can be demanding, example: "I WANT SOMETHING TO DRINK!" He will pout or cry if he doesn't get his way (this isn't abnormal behavior in my opinion just think he is use to his parents responding to it and we just don't respond to him when he yells. My husband and I tell him to ask nicely)

Recently my aunt has been by to visit us and I've come to the conclusion that she doesn't like him. She never includes him in anything she only offers my son (my son has even noticed this and has mentioned it) she goes in after everything he does and I feel like she has some kind of pick on him and for what reason I don't know. He is a 2 year old boy who already has his share of things he is going through and doesn't even know it.

My husband and I treat him as if he were our own child but my aunt (she isn't related to him this is my brother son from my moms. My aunt is on my dads side). Today my son was misbehaving (bouncing his basketball in the house) my husband took his ball and made him sit down and told him he'd get the ball back tomorrow. My aunt decided to interject herself in something that had nothing to do with her. It was between my husband and son and she said: "well if you're going to take his basketball then you should take the other boys blanket and teddy."

Then she told me: "That little boy hates all of us" and that finally did it for me. My husband thinks we should tell her it's time for her to leave and I'm all for that but I'd like to know what's her problem. This is a two year old we are talked by about seems more like she hates him not he hates her. She makes it seem like he is the worst child in the world and he is some kind of monster who bullies people.
