2 cars one space

I dont even mind if nobody reads this i just have to get this out of my system.

I live in an apartment complex. With a permit holders only parking unit.

i was driving up to a space and a lady was driving down to it opposite me. She was closer so I let her have it even though it was the LAST space on the complex and the nearest restriction free parking is a 15 minute walk away.

I decided to double check and do another lap of the complex before making my way out, (the road does a figure ‘8’ around the aprtments) and come back, this time behind her, to find that she had left the space, is now parked next to it (parallel to the box).

Weird...So I sit a few metres behind and await her next move as I would rather not leave if I didnt have to.

She clearly saw me and moved her car forward, as if she was to parallel park, so again I wait....and her break lights and tail lights shut off, no reverse lights on....

I again wait about 30 seconds before I decide the space is now mine and proceed to park.

As I get out of my car, she gets out of hers and is about to confront me until she sees my belly (i am 20 weeks pregnant and HUGE) then gets back into her car. Saying that i stole the space.

What I fail to understand is how you can get all aggressive over a space that you did not park in. After me letting you have it, and then gave you a chance to take it again once you left the spot!!!

Im so annoyed as this happens all the time at my complex as the resident : parking space ratio is like one space per 5 homes. Ridiculous.

UPDATE:

So i come back to my car this morning to find its been scratched and my wing mirrors stolen!!! The effort she put to steal them as my mirrors close when the car locks!!
