Unwanted Visits

So is it just me or does anyone else gets so. freaking. annoyed. when people just stop by your house without calling or texting first? I feel like such a bitch everytime I complain to my boyfriend about it but his parents live next to us and just pop in whenever they feel like it!! FIL just stopped down with the nephew to see if my daughter could come play. it's 6 pm I'm in the middle of making dinner and I hear a knock on the door, see that he sent the tiny little 5 year old up to knock. So I'm in the middle of trying to cook and have to stop and gather the dogs around and get them put away because they're going nuts and this kid is tiny and they will knock him over for one and two he's allergic to dogs. So I open the door and let little dude in and tell FIL "I'm in the middle of making dinner" and what's he do? Just shakes his head and says "yeah" I'm thinking like "yeah! so go the fuck away!" he's like "yeah Grandma's making dinner too, we wanted to see if she wanted to come play" so I repeat myself and say "well we are getting ready to eat, sorry dude" and then they just stand there with the door open letting the cold in and finally leave. So then my daughter is all bummed and pouty because she cant go with them and I have to deal with her crying now. I am so freaking close to posting a sign on our door saying "All visitors must schedule an appointment" lol I'm so tired of this, literally is a weekly freaking thing!!! Then ya know when I complain to my bf I just feel like a fucking bitch but omg... like how hard is it to pick up a phone and call and ask before just stopping by??
