W.T.A.F HAIR FALLING OUT??!

someone please help! my mum noticed this bald spot on the top of my head this afternoon! I've never had issues with my hair!! I'm 9w1d and I thought the hormones are meant to boost hair growth! actually freaking out at how much is missing! Has this happened to anyone else? There appears to be a red spot in the middle but I haven't felt any pain or irritation?? I'm so confused and actually worried....

Ask your doctor. My hair fell out quite a bit during pregnancy but not from one spot like that. With the red mark also being there, I would talk to your doctor for sure.

hair loss in pregnancy is really common, my friend lost quiet a lot of her hair whilst she was pregnant it was awful 😔 her teeth also went very wobbly. I'd go and see your doctor they gave her some medication to help x

get a thyroid check and have iodine levels done. sometimes in pregnancy you can become iodine deficient which causes hypothyroidism (iodine is needed to produce thyroid hormone) and a symptom of this is hair loss.
