Saving for my first tattoo!

Hey all, I made the decision. I’m getting a tattoo.

My thing is peacocks. I want to put - peacock feather on my forearm with the Bible verse: even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. (Ps 23:4)

I’m a victim of severe anxiety and self harm when I’m in meltdowns. I will scratch my forearm to high heavens (my scratches FINALLY healed). So, I want to put something beautiful on my arm so that I can remind myself that this darkness will pass. I’m think it will be good.

I’m really nervous because it’s my first tattoo. But maybe if I have that there, it will deter me from doing it. It’s big, and expensive. So I’ll save up for it. Thoughts??
