Pump and dump?

I got pretty drunk last night. Do i need to pump and dump this morning or will i be good since the alcohol has left my bloodstream?

Alcohol is metabolized out of your breastmilk the same rate as your blood. If you are no longer drunk, there is no need to pump and dump.

I just took a breast feeding class and don't have experience but the lactation consultant said pump and dump one time and that should cover most circumstances. I would do it just in case.

you don't need to pump and dump. also those test strips are not accurate.

Don’t pump and dump unless you’re engorged. As someone else said, alcohol moves through milk as it does your bloodstream. (You don’t normally drain blood after you drink, right? Haha)

In the future you could also use alcohol test strips to test, just to be safe.
