so yesterday i decided to show my mother in law the going home outfit me and my boyfriend picked for our baby to wear when she comes home, my due date is December 23rd and i live in new york so anyone who lives in new york knows that it gets super cold out here in the winter, my mother in law said she wants the baby to come home in a dress no pants or shirt and i nicely said i don't think she should because it's going to be so cold and she'll probably be uncomfortable in a dress when i put her jacket on so my boyfriend jumps in and says no she can't come home in a dress it's going to be too cold and his mom says "oh so if i buy her something your not going to put it on her?" and my boyfriend said "yes but she's not going to wear a dress when she comes out the hospital" she walks out the room and my boyfriend said she started crying i mean ofcourse she will wear what she buys her but it's mostly something me and my boyfriend should choose as her first outfit 😕 idk what to tell her i felt bad but wearing a dress for a newborn in the winter is a bad idea am i wrong 😕?
