Did anyone else have spotting while on progesterone suppositories???

I'm on progesterone suppositories and take one 100mg pill vaginally two times a day. I've been talking them for two weeks now and have had red spotting the past 3 days off and on. It'll turn brown, then pink, sometimes nothing, then back to bright red. I asked my specialist if it's normal to have red spotting and she said she would expect that with suppositories. Happen with anyone else???

I’ve been having light bleeding varying from brown pink and red also, the progesterone is wreaking havoc on my uterus, but my nursing team says it’s won’t hurt the baby. It certainly creates some serious anxiety though... but it’s very common with these suppositories. Tomorrow I have an ultrasound I’m hoping to see baby!

Nope but my dr told me I might! He said it’s normal

Yes, they told me it was because my cervix was sensitive. They had me stop using the progesterone applicator and just insert it with my finger. That stopped the spotting.

Yes I did from 4 weeks till 5w5d.  If the pregnancy is healthy it will stabilize and start producing more progesterone on its own as early as 5 weeks.  My RE took me off progesterone suppositories at @5w6d because my levels were good.
