Anyone else’s baby Ready but no labor?

My little guy (3rd baby) is fully engaged, like my midwife can only feel shoulders above the pubic bone.. can feel his head in exam.. he’s in line ready to go. Been having off and on mild contractions for a week now and my BP is starting to spike (normal for me just before labor). But still no labor yet! I’ve tried everything in the book from evening primrose oil, adult time with hubby, clary sage oil, homeopathic remedies, walking, etc. He’s so stubborn!
