Has anyone had any luck finding a donor? If so how did you go about it?

I found my donor by carefully looking into the best facilities. Then I narrowed it down to the features I was interested in as well as the educational background. NWCryobank is great.. not too expensive either. Lots of great choices.

Yes, i found mine through a (verified) website that you pay about $30 a month for, and i only lasted a few days before i found mine! Our first try is next weekend!

I spent over 16 months searching for the perfect candidate. On Jan 2nd this year I found my donor online! We are going to attempt the first round in May this year :)

I found mine from northwest cryobank! bought five samples in may when they were having that 25% off sale (which is such a bizarre concept... I got my sperm on sale!) I went with donor #9717, spent ~1700 total. there's a forum for people who are using him, and even a facebook group for people who had children from his sperm, he has I think 10 confirmed pregnancies now? hopefully I'll be number 11 lol!

I registered on a few donor websites. I ended up finding an incredible donor on Known Donor Registry within 24 hours. I know this sounds crazy, but we ended up meeting two days later, signed a donor agreement, and made our first attempt. There are definitely some creeps here, but a good number of men who have had multiple successes and are not creepy. My donor had current STI testing, sperm testing and a donor questionnaire that shared a lot of his thoughts on life, childhood and family history.

Yes, through prideangel.com. There seem to be a lot of genuine guys on there (although as with all these sites, also a lot of creeps). I have found a lovely donor through there. Good luck! x

I found mine. Took me 9 months seeing who was serious and willing to work with me. Met lots of jerks but finally found one located within 2 hours and willing to meet every fertile day. I got a lot of offers from men in the midwest lots willing to travel
