Christmas announcements?

Any ideas to announce to parents and family? First pregnancy first grand child for his dad and my parents but his mom and step dad have grandchildren already. Don’t wanna do the family picture where u announce it and you’re really recording or whatever. Can’t really find any cute ideas. Any help?

My mom and aunt already know but my grandparents don’t yet. I plan to put my 12 week ultrasound in an ornament and bring it down early and put it on the tree.

We wrapped a big box full of those white packing things and then we had a little box inside. Inside the little box was a picture of our dogs with a sign saying “we’re expecting the arrival of our new best friend, baby due July, 2016”. It was awesome because it was so unexpected. They thought they were just opening a regular gift. It was fun!

My mother has just started knitting again, so I'm going to give her a knitting pattern for some little boogies.  She will love being able to create something for the baby.

I’m announcing at thanksgiving. I’m going to give my grandma a bag with a onesie in it then let word spread from there. 
I just did it with my mom on her birthday last night and she loved it.

I don’t know if you’re religious, but we were going to announce our pregnancy during the prayer before eating. Then, our excitement got the best of us and we ended up spilling the beans way before the holidays 🙃
