Is it standard to wear a dress at your baby shower or no?

I’m having my baby shower today and I have 2 options: a dress and a very cute shirt and leggings outfit (because it’s very cold outside today). Has anybody else worn anything that’s not dressy at their baby shower?

I wore a pink flowy maternity top and jeans with my daughter. Next one I’ll wear something similar.

Girl, it’s your day, you wear whatever you feel most comfortable in 😉 I’ve been to a few baby showers where the mama to be wore leggings and a blouse ended up taking her shoes off an just being barefoot haha it doesn’t matter as long as you are comfortable

You dont have to wear a dress; your shower your choice! Dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable and beautiful. I just wore a tank top and a maxi skirt to mine because it was comfortable and cool for me.

Just wear what your most comfortable in. 
It’s not standard, some people just like to dress up for it, where others don’t feel the need to dress up so long as they look tidy.
