When did you find out the sex of your baby?

How far along were you when you found out the sex of your baby? My doctor says we'll have an ultrasound at 15 weeks to find out, but I had a friend tell me last night that her doc gave her a blood test at 10 weeks to find out the gender! Anyone else done that?
