Possible that baby can't turn?

I'm 32 weeks, 2 days and this baby has been transverse my entire pregnancy. He is getting so big now that it's extremely uncomfortable and he will continuously jab me in my ribs on the right side where the doctor said his feet are. it seems like he wants to turn so bad but he can't and it's painful for me anymore.

He still can turn at any time. My last son continued to do somersaults up until the day I delivered. My doc actually had me on watch for a c-section and when I went in, they did a sonogram and saw that he was head down. They hooked me up to machines to monitor my contractions and something seemed off, a sonogram showed he was head up again. They started to prep me for surgery but lo and behold, he flipped again and my labor started. I delivered vaginally. You baby may be in a tight space but he can still possibly be head down by time for delivery.
