Why can’t whites experience racism?

I’m in a heated debate right now with someone about the fact that white people cant experience racism, and no matter what I say she just can’t get it through her head.
Does anyone have a good way of explaining why this is true? Why can’t whites experience racism?
I know there are so many intelligent women in this group who could explain it so much better than me so I appreciate any and all feedback.

Because white people historically have held social, political, economical and institutional power.

Power, control, being born into a system designed by white people (built on the slave labor of POC), the institutions of the US are designed to benefit white people at the expense of everyone else. Just look at education, which is a right guaranteed to all, and yet what constitutes a “free and appropriate public education” in a predominantly minority community looks very different from that same free public education is a predominantly white community.

The way that I’ve always viewed it is because we are not a minority. Pretty basic

I have a question. ..I'm European and I'm white, while working as a medical assistant a patient seriously questioned my ability to do my job and was asking me if I went to school in America or if I went to school back home. at the end she requested for someone else to take her blood pressure.  Was that racist?
