Someone please answer

I don't get it and I can't find any answers online. My husband and I are trying to conceive. I finished my pack of birth control a few weeks ago. Started my "period" the next day which lasted a few days and then I'm just taking test after test waiting until I am fertile and ovulate. It keeps coming back as negative not even a little fertile. I guess my question is when is the "normal" to start ovulating again after the pill? When did you get a positive ovulation test after the pill???
