Birth story

It all started with a hard kick by baby :D my water broke and swoosh came the fluid.. I got to the hospital in 15 minutes. I always wished for a vaginal delivery so I was induced.. My God let me tell you it was the worst pain I have ever faced.. It was unnaturally painful contractions.. I tolerated for a few hours n then asked for an epidural.. Epidural saved my ass.. I could still feel the contractions but they were very slight. I caught up on some sleep. Once it wore off I was back in terrible pain. I went from 1 to 10cm dilation in 7 hours.. But the bad news was baby hadn't engaged & the pressure was high on the baby's head.. I tried pushing but to no avail.. Doctor gave us two choices, either c section or forceps birth.. She said since baby was really high up there would be damage to membranes and second pregnancy wouldn't be possible.. So we opted for c section. All through this my husband was extremely supportive.. Always pressing my back during contractions.. Finally my son was born via surgery.. I was so happy and tearful.. He was born to my prayers.. I love him to bits :) just sharing this story so that moms are prepared for any changes in birth plans.. Good luck to all the preggos out there :)
