How long does it take to have a period after a miscarriage

How long does it take to have a period after a miscarriage ? I had One on October 5th and it lasted about 4 days ... I was only 3.5 weeks but still sad over it . My hubby and I did ivf and This was the only egg I had :( we have been trying kind of after the mc but we have really low chances of conceiving on our own . I guess I was hoping for a miracle .. if anyone has had a mc can you tell me how long it took to have a period ? I have been cramping so I feel like it’s coming :(
