My baby uses his right arm more than left? Anyone with similar experience? 🤔
Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this?
My son is two months old, almost 3 months and I’ve noticed he uses his right arm more during tummy time. When I put him on his tummy, his right arm always comes up first but his left arm has trouble moving up to support himself. I also notice that every so often his wrist turns inward. Not always but just occasionally and it has me worried.

He definitely uses his left arm. It’s not like it hangs limp by his body normally but I just notice he doesn’t seem to be able to move it up during tummy time. But when he’s playing, he definitely swats at his toys with both arms.
I already talked to his pediatrician last week and she told me to call her this upcoming Thursday with an update, and she said if it hasn’t improved she’ll recommend us to a physical therapist.
I just wanted to see if any of you had any similar experience with your babies and if they improved. Thanks and sorry for the long post. Just a concerned momma.
Edit: I’ve only noticed this in the last two weeks. Everything has seemed normal previously and when he had his first checkup , there weren’t any concerns.
I also delivered him vaginally, I just had an epidural and an episiotomy. As far as I remember, there weren’t any forceps or vacuum used. My ob just made a cut and then I pushed out and he cane out rather easily.
