I was placed on birth control to regulate my cycle but my prescription came with no instructions

I have been bleeding since August 23rd and was placed on birth control to stop the bleeding 2 weeks ago

it stopped for a couple of days and now I am bleeding again

I have had horrible cramps for the past 2 days and today I passed a big blood clot with grey tissue

I'm not sure how it's supposed to regulate my cycle

if anyone can just explain to me or give me the best shot of what they think is going on I would really appreciate it thanks ladies💜

( yes me and my husband are trying to conceive I'm very healthy the only issue is I have have not ovulated and the lack of ovulation is causing irregular Cycles)
