Period after IUD

Hey guys... So I’m wondering why I haven’t gotten my period yet. My last period started September 20th. I got my IUD inserted on October 11th. Before the IUD, I was on the pill so there was no gap where I wasn’t on birth control. I’m over a month late. I know that the IUD will eventually make your period disappear completely but I thought that was after a year or a few months of having it. Anyone have this problem before? What advice can anyone give?
