Do I Want Reusable Diapers?

Question

Hello guys,
I am a proud father of a 3-month-old princess. So far we have been using disposable diapers but I think it is not environmentally efficient. I have heard stories about the amount of diapers that gets thrown. 
I have already purchased a few pairs of reusable diapers. I really like the vibrant colors and witty prints. Yet I think i am not fully prepared. I rather chose the diapers on price from Amazon. They come with free inserts. 
Should I know something else in advance?

I love using cloth diapers. We save money, it's better for the environment, and the diapers are easy to use.
My favorite brand is Nora's Nursery, which I found on Amazon. They are really cute and we've never had a leak or a blowout.

I love my cloth diapers I got all of them used online from people that bought their entire stash before trying them out and then they sell them for a lot less than what they paid for I would recommend getting a very small stash just to see if you really like it. or even start out using flats and a cover

Are you on fb? Fluff Love & CD Science and All About Cloth Diapers Chat are two of my favorite cloth diapering groups. Fluff Love is more geared towards trouble shooting posts, but an admin will help set you up with a proper wash routine specific to your washer. Both are excellent groups for asking questions and learning. Fluff Love also had a great website with tons of information on everything you need to know at Fluffloveuniversity.com. Next month will mark 2 years of exclusively using cloth diapers and cloth wipes and it's been amazing. We will honestly never look back to disposables. we are expecting a new baby next Spring and will be using cloth straight from birth with them💜

Look for cloth diapers on the OfferUp app or craigslist if you don’t mind used diapers, although sometimes they are used. They have Alva diapers on EBay for three bucks each you just have to look. I found myself buying both good brand diapers like Bumgenius and then Alva diapers that come with the cheap white inserts that don’t soak up too much. They also have started bundles on Etsy and single cloth diapers you can purchase. 👍🏼 here are some I just bought for my son!  They also have super cute pink prints. My son has some of those also.
