should I be this scared of who i am?

So I am 15 and lesbian I have kind of hid in the closet for about a year and just started coming out but besides that I have told people i trust and not that long ago my mom but all she really said was that I can be Christian and gay basically ( my mom and dad both hate the LGBT+ community btw) and she is telling me I need to tell my dad but I am so scared like what if he doesn't except me for who I am and won't love me anymore I would be petrified
