My mother in law is... #venting

Let me just say, my MIL is a good person. However I can’t stand her sometimes.

I had a baby girl in July. My MIL was great and all the first month, visiting us, asking about her granddaughter.. etc (she lives a few blocks away.)

Time passed, my baby is now almost 4 months. My husband works in another city and I see him only in weekends.

Now my MIL, she NEVER asks about her granddaughter, not ONLY once during weekdays.. knowing that I am alone and husband isn’t around.

I don’t want anything from her, don’t want her to visit. But a simple text asking about her granddaughter would be appreciated. She doesn’t have to ask about me.

Not to mention, husband’s sister lives in the same building as mine, and she never even come along (and yes we have a good relationship.)

It just baffles me.. 🙄
