Too soon to start thinking about marriage?

Caroline

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year, we get along amazingly, we do fight sometimes but we work it out like adults, most of the time lol, we did a trial run living together for two months over the summer and it went really well and he officially extended an invitation for me to officially move in with him whenever I want. I always thought I wouldn't even think about getting married til I got my bachelors degree, but the career I decided to do doesn't actually require a degree, I might get one just for the benefit of having one but that's tbd, anyway I keep finding my mind turning towards marriage. He is literally the most amazing man I have ever met. He is 25, a ssgt in the marine corps with his life all together. I am 21 and on the path to starting my career. I have had a lot of bad relationships and a couple really good ones and he is just incredible by comparison to all of them. I recognize where we would have some challenges as a couple given our personalities, I like to talk everything through and he doesn't really like to show his emotions a lot, but I'd rather work that kind of stuff out with him, or even fight with him, than have a fairytale relationship with anyone else. I know that unless something horribly wrong happens in our relationship I want to marry him someday, and I am 95% sure he feels the same way (he told me he is in this for the long haul or something similar) so I guess what I've been wondering lately is what are we waiting for? I want to talk to him about how I feel but I don't want to come on too strong if he isn't in the same place as I am. Any advice?
