Spina Bifida

I went to the Dr last week (17 weeks) & was informed my baby might have SB. I was sent for a fetal assessment the next day. The Dr confirmed there might be a chance near the lower part of the spine but baby wasn’t co-operating & they couldn’t see the very bottom. I had an amnio done right then & now waiting for the results (they said Tuesday). The Dr said the lower the better & there’s no fluid filled sac. I am so scared & have 2 healthy babies. They told me about an in utero surgery that I could have but would have to travel to Toronto for but this is all so overwhelming for me. I need some reassurance & success stories on SB.
