Convinced my SO to put the tree up today, I️ love Christmas and I️ figured I️ only get two months to have this baby up. So we did it today!

I'm ready to get mine up, but my OCD won't allow it until I finish my cleaning ritual so the house is "worthy". I'm almost done, just one or two more days of cleaning and we can get to it.

Okay so this isn't controversial BUT.... I just took out all of my Christmas decorations tonight and will begin decorating tomorrow!!! To be fair, I am 34 weeks pregnant and I really don't want to be waddling up a ladder a week before I am due.

We put ours up early too so we can enjoy it longer...only we usually get a real one so there's the balance of how long it stays fresh vs enjoying it for longer. Sometimes we get a potted one to plant later but I haven't been able to get any of those to grow. Some years we put up the fake one to save money. Yours is lovely. Ignore the other comment about ugly skinny trees. That was rude. We will break out our Christmas decor this weekend as well. I like things to be festive...it is an awful lot of work if things are just up for 3 weeks in December...
