Alum of doom

I quarter of a teaspoon of Alum in 500ml of water, dip a tampon in it an inserted it in my vagina for about 4 mins.

Its been almost 16hours but my vagina is still tight...its uncomfortable actually. Anybody know why or if it can affect pregnancy?
