Can I be dilated ?

I will be 37 weeks in 2 days (first child) and having the worst pelvic pain it is right on top of my vaginal and I could barely walk or lift my right leg. I feel like my sons head is coming out of it. I am having mild cramping sporadically and Braxton hicks. I go see the doctor today but last visit they said they don't usually check til 38 weeks. But if I am having a lot of pain and contractions shouldn't they check my cervix? Anyone have this going on and find out they were dilated?

could just be your pelvic bones widening to allow for baby...  baby may be head down and putting pressure in that area which doesnt help the pain.  and having braxton hicks on top of all that....well...welcome to the last leg of pregnancy🤗🤗🤗

Probably just pelvic pressure. I'm 37 weeks having same issue. I can't even lift my leg up high enough to put my pants on without it hurting.

I hate to be a bearer of bad news but it might not be anything. I've been having the exact same pain you described for two weeks. At my last check I was only dilated a centimeter, not even enough to do a membrane sweep. It COULD be something, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. In the last few weeks they like to position their heads on certain nerves so the type of pain you're describing is, unfortunately, pretty normal.

It probably nothing, I have it a lot since 26weeks and I’m now 30weeks, I’m dilated to 1cm tho.. they say it’s just pressure from the baby on the pelvis..
