My iron count is too high...doc says high iron is no big deal
I don't eat red meat, ever.
I barely eat chicken or turkey. And I'm not one to eat green veggies all that much, yet my iron levels are HIGH, so are my red blood counts. Or at least higher than the ok range. I don't take any vitamins. My doctor says it's normal in a young female but I'm concerned. He's always been a good doctor. I'm gonna try to get a second opinion but I seriously can't afford it right now.
My result paper thingy is in a bag I left at my mothers house so I'll try to put a picture of it when I see her later.
Are results like this truly normal? Or do I have a right to be concerned? They've been high like this for a while.
