Spotting and very mild cramps during pregnancy?

Has anyone had a little spotting and cramps with pregnancy? I just went to the bathroom and there was a little bit of brown. I’m trying not to panic, I actually had this with my last pregnancy and everything was fine but this is a different pregnancy, a different baby. Anyone else have this? Did you call the dr? How did you stay calm? I don’t want to call the dr, because with my first pregnancy, I was bleeding and they told me I was miscarrying but I didn’t and I don’t want to go through that pain again.... and I don’t have a provider yet. I’m trying to remain calm but I don’t know how.
