Should I be worried if I get the flu while in the first trimester?

Stay on top of it and get to the Doctor!

It could lead to pneumonia. I'd be careful and tell your doctor. Did you get the flu shot?

I got sick during my first trimester. I was around 9 weeks pregnant

Don't panic too much as long as you can still keep down fluids and you get lots of rest you and baby should be ok. If you have trouble breathing or bad chest pain or if you can't keep down liquids and get dehydrated then I think you need to go to the doctor.
