Breastfeeding or formula feeding???

Question

I'm 36 weeks pregnant & I now feel like it's time to make my decision but I have no idea what to do.. a big part of me wanted to breast feed & then I changed my mind and i have been back & forth every since. My FHs family is super pushy making me feel like I have no other choice but to breast feed but I just don't know about it. I don't feel like my heart is set on it enough to breast feed even tho I know that it would be better for my daughter rather than formula and that really makes me feel so shitty. Can y'all please tell me what you are doing/did & some pros & cons of each. Thank you!!!

I tried breastfeeding and hated it. 
I was happy with formula and so was my son (he didnt latch properly anyway), but he started solids really early too because of his weight.
Im likely going to formula feed my daughter as well.

Iv formula fed both my children and I am for my final one aswel, no one ever really questioned me or tried to talk me into breast feeding but I think you can only do what you feel comfortable with and don't feel pressured into doing one or the other 🙂

I formula my first 2 
Breast for 3rd and I will be doing breast again. 
Breast was way easier as it was always ready to go. Plus way cheaper. 
I did find that I am really self conscious to do it in public even around most family. Still am. 
The only thing I can tell you is you can always try breast. If it’s not for you it’s not. No BIG DEAL ! Don’t beat yourself up. Nothing is different from my boys health or brain wise between formula and breast. 
Maybe try going to a class first before delivery? Get some great information to make your decision.

I did breastfeeding, and loved it. There was a huge learning curve with my first, since he wouldn't latch properly. We didn't want the expense of formula, so I pumped and bottled the first few weeks. I wouldn't change a thing! Remember, your milk will likely come in either way, so there is not much harm in trying it at first. It helps a lot by causing uterine contractions in the first few hours, which reduces bleeding risk. I would say there is no reason to feel like it is only one or the other, you can change to formula any time, just talk to your doctor about it so you don't get an infection.
