So I’m 36+ weeks pregnant and I called my clinic today to tell them that I wanna switch my doc just because I don’t want to give birth in the hospital that my current clinic associates with.

My reason? Well because I went to the ER of that hospital a few days ago and I was shocked.

First of all they had me waiting 4 hrs , didn’t even check my vitals .

And I wasn’t even in major pain, but there were at least 5-6 women who were in active labor, screaming in pain and they had them standing in the hallway saying wait wait we won’t have rooms ... then another woman in labor came crying and all and this nurse was like “ be quiet, your not dying “ . Ummm ... I didn’t even bother getting checked . I got up and I left . There is no way I’m gonna give birth in a hospital where they have woman in labor on their knees in the hallway just because they have no rooms. Smh

So yeah I told her I want them to transfer my records to another doc so I can go to a different hospital and she was so rude ... she’s like I can’t transfer it , you gotta come to see the doc and then we’ll decide .. why do you mean you’ll decide ? Don’t I have the right to MY pregnancy records and don’t I have the right to choose where I wanna go and where I wanna deliver? 🤔
