Fighting for a chance to have VBAC

My 1st pregnancy ended in an emergency c-section at 40weeks. My son passed away a few hours later due to a form of lung disease. Because of no record of my c-section thanks to military doctors. My civilian doctor refuses to induce me because of a risk of a rupture. My cervix also never opened up at 40weeks the 1st time around and it looks like the same might happen again. Doctor wants to just do a c-section at 39weeks (currently 37+6) to eliminate all risk. I desperately want to have a vaginal delivery but worried my cervix will not open once again. And once again I will not have a choice but to have surgery. 😢😭
