I'm falling in love with another man

My husband and I have been together for 8 years now. Coles notes: Our relationship has been Rocky to say the least. We were distance for 4 years. He lied about his while life, has been jealous, emotionally abusive, verbally abusive, and our fights have been extreme at best. We have two kids together now. He is battling with PTSD (we are both military) and a terrible drug laden childhood that makes him irritable and angry daily. I love him but I never thought this would be our life. I've met someone now and we text often. He is kind, has all the same interests as me. He believes is romance and sweet gestures. It's all innocent talk, I would never cheat but he is probably my soul mate. I'm confused. It's so hard because my kids love their father (they are 4 and 18minths) but he is so short and angry withthem frequently). I don't know what to do.
