When will I start my period after having a baby?

My babe is 8 months old now and still breastfeeding but he eats solids 3 times a day. Wondering when I will get my periods again and nervous about their intensity...

I got it back at 9 months! I’m excited about lol. And it was completely normal except I didn’t have any aches or cramps 😲🤩

I got mine back when my son was 8 1/2 months. It wasn't much worse than pre pregnancy, just a little heavier. 😊 It took around 6 months to become regular as far as length of cycle goes.

Take a pregnancy test. . . It shouldn't be that long. My sister and my neighbor both were pregnant without knowing it because they thought they just hadn't gotten their periods back yet.

I didn’t get my first period until 6 months afterwards. I quit breastfeeding complete little bit before 6 months. But I don’t know if it was that or the mini pill birth control I quit taking at that time as well. I know someone who didn’t breastfeed at all and got her first period when her daughter was a year old. And my period didn’t come back horrible it was the same as before.
